The Story
Construction of each splice uses 3 feet of the rope from your total quantity ordered.
If the rope you have is a double braid nylon, this is the splice you would use. Price is for one spliced end only. This type of splice is also known as a Class I splice.
- 1/4" - 5/8" diameter ropes:
- A minimum 3 feet of the rope's total length will be used to construct the eye splice loop.
- 3/4" - 1" diameter ropes:
- A minimum 4 feet of the rope's total length will be used to construct the eye splice loop.
The Tight Eye splice we install on your rope will be just large enough for a carabiner.
The Large Eye splice we install on your rope will have an inside diameter of approximately 4 inches.
